School Chalks - inch long liquorice sticks in the same shape as black board chalk. These have a crispy minty shell, with a slightly salty liquorice centre. Just don't chuck it at someone's ear if they aren't listening to you.

A good alternative to wilko mints

These are minty but the liquorice i find is quite salty. However, the more you eat the better they get. Not quite Wilko mints but a good alternative

The box of chalked were brilliant. The only difference between the bag I bought and the was .... the bag was much crunchier which I did prefer but all in all both were amazing. Thank you

It's a texture and taste thing instead of being gooey like soft eating liquorice, this liquorice is more chewey so lasts longer in the mouth enabling you to enjoy the flavour longer . Only improvement maybe a stronger minty flavour on the coating would be nice

I discovered these in a Pick and Mix whilst in the Netherlands and the few I bought back with me soon went so it is good to find them over here.
The trouble with a Kilo is the Calories but I can resist and just dive into the bag from time to time.

Soft slightly chewy licorice (not with an intense flavour) with a gentle crunchy mint flavoured coating makes an satisfying bite, or suck or chew.

Made in Holland where they eat lots of licorice and have many different types.

If you don't want to go for a Kilo at least give 250g a try. I will not offer you your money back but I do not think you will be dissapointed in this minty masterpiece
