Bought as a birthday present to fill a retro Cadburys Chocolate Machine for a 40th birthday present my stepson was thrilled as he has always wanted one and after much searching found these online.

Bought for a friend who said that the sweets were delicious, fruity, and of good texture. Pretty colours shown off in a bon-bon dish.

More Aromatic than liquorice?

The tastes are quite subtle.

There is no intense black liquorice taste from the centre, it all rather mild.

The outer wrap surrounding the liquorice centre is somewhat caramel like in taste but not the heavier sweet taste of a toffee it much lighter and the taste floats past the nose rather than lands on the tongue.

All together an interesting mix of flavours but I think next time I will buy 500gm rather than the kilo if only to get a bag I can put in pocket.
