Liquorice Torpedoes - multi coloured sweets with a crunchy shell and liquorice centre. These are the big brothers to the original comfits which are much smaller. Their name reflects their shape as they are similar to a torpedo but much nicer to share with your friends.

we were in san Sebastian last month and tried gin cocktails and the bar gave a small pot of the baby versions of these to us with jelly sweets and it went really well, so thought id recreate it.. slightly larger version in the end but will do the job im sure
