Bought as a birthday present to fill a retro Cadburys Chocolate Machine for a 40th birthday present my stepson was thrilled as he has always wanted one and after much searching found these online.

Bought for a friend who said that the sweets were delicious, fruity, and of good texture. Pretty colours shown off in a bon-bon dish.

Pontefract cakes - the original soft eating liquorice sweet in the shape of an old coin stamped with the seal of approval. Did you know these have been around since the 1648 Siege of Pontefract when liquorice was grown behind the homes of the residents. Each 250g bag contains about sixty sweets.

My husband loves pontefract cakes. Ordered some from another shop alas they said original but they weren't.
I searched everywhere and up came this shop. So I ordered yay the REAL ones. Happy hubby. This shop has it all.
