Product Details

Toffee Bonbons - now there are many makes of bonbons out there, from the rock hard to those that are almost a sludgy chew. We think that these have the best flavour and texture available. The white outer casing has a creamy taste and falls away as you bite into it and the centre is real toffee which lasts far longer than any other bonbon we have tried. We have these made for us by Bristows of Devon who have been making confectionery since 1932 to very high standard; they also make some extremely good clotted cream bonbons and fudge as well.

Toffee challenge!!
Rating:

The outer coating is quite thick, but my biggest challenge was the toffee on my fillings (I don't think my dentist will be impressed). The toffee centre is very hard so be prepared!

Response:

Hi The Captin Here, many thanks for your feedback. We do stock a softer toffee bonbon, it is called "Toffee Bonbons (Soft Centre)" ,

The one you pruchased is suposed to be hard in the middle as its an old fashioned hard toffee bonbon. Anyone who would like a softer more modern bonbon I would reomened the softer centre ones as they are are easier to chew.

I thought originally that these were gonna be good. How wrong was I?
Coated in lots and lots and lots of icing sugar, there was a minimal amount of toffee inside. I originally got them because of the toffee. Not sure you could persuade me to buy more. Sorry but you got this one wrong.

These Toffee Bon Bons were tasty, however, I would have preferred it if they were harder, I found them quite soft.
